Not a trial. The free plan has no expiry and asks for no card.

The gap between attendance and payroll is where small companies lose their month end. Hours live in one place, salaries in another, and somebody bridges the two by hand into a file the bank will accept.

DawamHR closes that gap because the hours are already here. Set an hourly rate or a monthly salary per employee, and the month’s pay run is built from completed attendance — with manual deductions where you need them, each carrying a note.

Every employee gets a payslip PDF, and the whole run exports as a WPS-style salary file for upload to your bank. Employees see their own pay history without asking anyone for it.

Payroll goes wrong in the handover. Hours live in one system, salaries in another, and someone bridges them by hand into a file the bank will accept — under time pressure, once a month, with no second reader. Removing that transcription is most of the value here.

The month builds itself from the hours

Because attendance already lives here, the pay run is assembled from completed hours rather than re-entered. The number on the payslip traces back to specific punches, which is what makes a query answerable instead of arguable.

03

Deductions you type, with a reason attached

Deductions are entered per employee per month, each carrying a note. Deliberately manual: an automatic deduction that is wrong is worse than one you had to type, because it is discovered in a payslip rather than before it.

04

A payslip for everyone, every month

Each employee gets a PDF payslip and can see their own pay history without asking anyone for it. That single change removes the most repeated HR request of the month.

05

A salary file your bank will take

The run exports as a WPS-style salary file for upload. Payment still happens at your bank, as it does today — what disappears is the retyping between your attendance records and that upload.

06

Reports that survive an audit

Attendance, leave history and payroll all export to Excel, and payslips to PDF. When someone asks how a figure was reached — an auditor, an employee, a ministry — the working is retrievable rather than reconstructed.

What changes in your first month

Running payroll manually

  • Hours copied out of a register into a payroll sheet, one person at a time.
  • Payslips built one by one in a word processor, and formatted by hand.
  • A bank salary file typed out every month, then checked twice before sending.
  • A deduction applied with no note against it, and queried three months later.

Running payroll in DawamHR

  • The pay run reads the tracked hours directly — there is nothing to copy.
  • Payslip PDFs generated per person, in that person’s own language.
  • A WPS-style salary file exported ready for the bank.
  • Every manual deduction carries a note, kept with the run it belongs to.

Common questions

What is WPS and do I need it?

A Wage Protection System is the mechanism by which private-sector salaries are paid through approved banks and reported to the authorities — it applies across the Gulf, under a different name and format in each country. If your staff are covered by one, the file format is the practical part of it.

Does DawamHR pay my staff?

No — it prepares the run and produces the file. Payment happens at your bank, as it does today. DawamHR removes the retyping between your attendance records and that upload, not the bank from the process.

Are deductions calculated automatically?

Deliberately not. Deductions are entered per employee per month with a note, because an automatic deduction that is wrong is worse than one you had to type — it is discovered in a payslip rather than before it.

Can employees see their payslips?

Yes. Each person sees their own pay history and can download their payslips themselves, which removes the most common HR request of the month.

Can we run payroll for staff in more than one country?

Yes. Currency is set per office, so employees are paid and reported in the currency of the office they belong to, under a single account.

Does it calculate end-of-service indemnity?

Not inside the pay run — indemnity is an end-of-employment calculation rather than a monthly one. Our free end-of-service calculator covers six GCC countries, each under its own statute, and shows the full working.
